MPs Visit

Warwick Moto hosted Sureena Brackenridge and Darren Paffey at our workshop in the IMC, providing an opportunity to showcase the team’s work and achievements. We introduced them to the Warwick Moto project, sharing insight into the design and development of our electric race bike, as well as our journey through the MotoStudent competition. In particular, we highlighted our strong debut performance and the key milestones we have achieved as a team.

They were especially interested in how Warwick Moto is supported by local industry, allowing us to showcase the vital role our partners and sponsors play in enabling the project’s success. This included discussing how industry collaboration contributes not only to the development of the bike, but also to the skills and experience gained by our team members.

The visit was a valuable opportunity to highlight the impact of student-led engineering projects and the importance of continued support for initiatives that bridge education, industry, and innovation.
