Warwick Moto hosted a stand at the Coventry Transport Museum as part of a special event organised by Warwick Manufacturing Group in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The event brought together organisations committed to supporting women in STEM, including Girls on Track UK, with the shared goal of encouraging more young women to pursue careers in science, engineering, and motorsport.

Throughout the day, the team showcased the Warwick Moto project, engaging with students and families to explore the engineering behind the bike and highlight pathways into motorsport and technology. It created a space for young girls from diverse backgrounds to see themselves reflected in engineering and imagine future careers in STEM.

The real impact, however, went beyond the engineering: “Standing there in our pink merch next to our pink bike, seeing how excited the younger students were during our demos - it really hit me how much impact we can have beyond just building the bike. In that moment, it felt like we were showing them that this space is for them too.” - Sudarshana

Warwick Moto is proud to support initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion in engineering, helping to inspire the next generation of women in STEM.
