Chris McDonald MP Visit

Chris McDonald MP visited the Warwick Moto workshop as part of his tour of the WMG facilities, where he met with the team to learn more about our work. Discussions focussed on our links to the UK’s advanced manufacturing sector, our approach to innovation, and the valuable skills students develop through their involvement in Warwick Moto.

The opportunity to showcase our work to a senior figure in British industry was incredibly valuable. It allowed us to highlight the role of student-led engineering teams in developing the next generation of engineers, equipping members with practical technical experience alongside essential skills in teamwork and project management.

Speaking after his visit to WMG, Minister for Industry Chris McDonald said: "To ensure that Britain is the best place in the world to do business, we need the best workforce in the world with the right skills and expertise to thrive."
