British Science Week

As part of British Science Week, we delivered outreach activities to primary school pupils.

For British Science Week 2026, we hosted an interactive stand across two days, engaging with over 150 primary school pupils and introducing them to the world of electric motorcycle engineering.

Students took part in a hands-on demonstration exploring the gyroscopic forces of a rotating wheel - one of the key principles influencing motorcycle stability and handling. Alongside this, our team answered a wide range of thoughtful questions and shared 3D printed Warwick Moto keychains with students.

This year's theme, “Curiosity: What’s your question?”, was truly brought to life through the enthusiastic and insightful questions we had from the students. Their creativity and eagerness to learn were inspiring (future Warwick Moto engineers in the making!)

Reflecting on the event, Tahmara shared: “It was a great experience to present our project at British Science Week, interacting with the students and explaining some of the science behind what we do. It was especially rewarding to see them engaged and enjoying themselves throughout the day.”

We are proud to contribute to widening participation in STEM, helping to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
